My Approach
Relationships with other people can be one of the more rewarding or disappointing aspects of our lives. Relationships can feel effortful, and it can feel hard to truly be yourself around the people closest to you. Do you wish that relationships with friends, family, or romantic partners felt easier, or that you felt more confident and authentic when engaging with others? Whether working with couples, blended families, or individuals regarding finding your people, professional relationships or romantic partnerships, I can help you gain insight into your relationship dynamics and provide support while you gain confidence in yourself and how you connect with others.
How it is like working with me
In sessions, I help clients become more aware and confident by exploring beliefs as well as current and past experiences in a warm, supportive environment. As a clinician, I encourage clients to take charge of their own process while bringing their attention to beliefs or behavior that may not be in alignment with their goals or values. I see the therapeutic process as collaborative, and as individual as each client. In session, I strive to create an open, comfortable environment using humor and genuineness. Uncomfortable thoughts, feelings, and experiences are met with warmth rather than judgement.
