My Approach
I work with children, teens, and their families in a way that feels personal, thoughtful, and grounded in connection. I believe that trust and relationships are at the core of meaningful therapy, and I do my best to create a space where kids and caregivers feel safe, supported, and truly heard. Every child is different, so I adapt how I work depending on what each person needs—there’s no one-size-fits-all.
I care deeply about honoring each child’s way of thinking and experiencing the world. I also pay close attention to how culture, family background, and past experiences shape who we are. When working with younger kids, I often involve parents directly so that the support continues at home. Above all, my approach is warm, respectful, and rooted in a deep belief that every family deserves care that meets them where they are.
In assessment, I focus on identifying strengths and offering meaningful, developmentally appropriate recommendations.
How it is like working with me
I’m an active and engaged therapist, meaning I’ll ask thoughtful questions, share observations, and offer gentle challenges when it feels helpful. I pay close attention to the details and bring a mix of playfulness and structure into my work—especially with younger children. In our work together, I’ll offer honest, constructive feedback and invite open conversation about what’s working and what’s not. I want you to feel supported, seen, and empowered throughout the process. I see parents as the drivers of their family’s journey—and I’m here as a co-pilot, helping you navigate the bumps, turns, and tough spots along the way. Families often describe me as authentic, personable, and resourceful—and I always welcome your feedback so we can adjust our path as needed and stay aligned with your goals.
