My Approach

I value authenticity and cultural sensitivity in therapy, and I believe in the inherent resilience and potential of every individual. It’s completely normal to feel a little lost at times.

My approach is to create a safe and supportive space where you can bring your authentic self and feel seen, heard, and understood through a genuine and trusting therapeutic relationship. In my work, I often integrate techniques that offer practical tools while also allowing time and space to foster deeper self-awareness. I view therapy as a collaborative journey. While I may serve as a guide, offering perspectives and insights along the way, you are the one in the driver’s seat—steering us through the safari of self-discovery. Together, we move toward greater self-understanding and authentic living.

How it is like working with me

I bring warmth and genuine curiosity into my sessions. In the beginning, I take the role of an attentive listener—observing and connecting the dots to better understand your concerns. As our therapeutic relationship grows, I will ask meaningful questions and offer thoughtful challenges that can be helpful in deepening your insights.

My style is down-to-earth and authentic—I value creating a supportive space where real and honest conversations can happen. Clients have described me as warm, calm, gentle, and genuinely curious. Sometimes I may gently invite you to focus on areas that may feel uncomfortable, and together we can explore those difficult emotions as part of the therapy process. You may come to new realizations about yourself or experience meaningful breakthroughs. I also love using metaphors and simple examples to illustrate ideas in a way that tends to stick with you and feel more relatable. I am also feedback-informed and value collaboration. I often work on adjusting the pace of our work to fit your comfort level and cultural background.
